Teams Look to Lock-Up Championship Bids in Women's Lacrosse Saturday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With just two weekends remaining in the America East women’s lacrosse regular-season, teams look to lock-up playoff positioning as only Stony Brook has clinched a spot in the America East Championship.

Boston U. (5-7, 2-3) at No. 10/10 Stony Brook (12-2, 4-0), 1 p.m.

Stony Brook can clinch the No. 1 seed and host the America East Championship with a win over Boston University. The game will be a matchup of the top two goal scorers in the country, as Stony Brook’s Demmianne Cook is first at 4.64 goals per game and Boston U.’s Danielle Etrasco is second at 3.91 goals per game.

Albany (9-4, 3-1) at Binghamton (2-9, 1-3), 1 p.m.

Albany can clinch a spot in the America East Championship and the No. 2 seed in the tournament with a win over Binghamton. The Bearcats are battling for a spot in the playoffs, sitting one win behind New Hampshire heading into Saturday.
