CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Three different teams were represented in the week six America East Baseball weekly honors, the conference office announced Monday.

Albany senior Nolan Gaige was named Player of the week, while Maine junior Tommy Lawrence earned Pitcher of the Week and Stony Brook freshman Jack Parenty was named Rookie of the Week.

Gaige (East Greenbush, N.Y.) led Albany to a series victory over conference foe UMBC, batting .500 with a conference-best five RBI, three triples, three runs scored, and stole one base in one attempt. With his first triple of the weekend, Gaige became the program’s all-time leader, belting 14 in his career. His seven hits in the series also moved Gaige into fourth place all-time at Albany with 210 career hits. Going 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs batted in and two runs scored in game two, Gaige led the Great Danes to a 13-1 victory and also played a key role in the Great Danes’ 5-2 rubber match win, scoring a run. Gaige had hits in all three games, including a pair of three-hit games.

Lawrence (West Haven, Conn.) earned his third Pitcher of the Week honor and his second-straight with another outstanding performance as he notched a win over Hartford. The junior allowed just one unearned run on one hit in in eight innings in Maine's 9-3 victory of the Hawks. Lawrence took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and extended his scoreless innings streak to 15 before allowing a run in the seventh inning against Hartford. He struck out eight batters in the game and allowed just one walk.

Parenty (Wantagh, N.Y.) was Stony Brook's best offensive player last week, hitting a robust .533 and reaching base in each of the Seawolves’ four games to earn his first Rookie of the Week honor. The freshman left fielder did his best to keep the Seawolves in their opener vs. Binghamton; trailing 4-0, Parenty smashed an opposite field triple that scored two runs as part of a six-run fourth inning. He finished the game 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Patenty followed that game with a 2-for-3 game in the second game of a doubleheader to finish the day 6-for-8. The Wantagh, N.Y., native went 1-for-4 in the series finale vs. Binghamton to extend his hitting streak to 13 consecutive games. Parenty leads Stony Brook in hitting (.393) and runs scored (11).
