CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The America East Conference and Fox
College Sports announced Thursday that the America East Women’s Basketball
Championship game will be televised on Fox College Sports on Saturday, March 16
at 7 p.m., in addition to being available on ESPN3.
“We felt it was important to have our women’s basketball championship
game available on linear television in addition to the mobile impact of ESPN3,”
said America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen. “Fox College Sports is a
national network with reach into 25 major markets, giving our programs greater
visibility.”
Fox College Sports (FCS) is seen
by viewers in the nation’s 25 largest cities, including New York, Los Angeles,
Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas and Atlanta. FCS is available on DirecTV
and most major cable companies including AT&T U-verse, Charter, Comcast,
