The
Great Danes narrowly escape Case Gym with a victory earlier this season, edging
the Terriers 57-50 thanks to a strong first half. Boston U. battled back from a
23-point deficit to get within three with 2:46 left following a free throw from
Rashidat Agboola, but that was as close as the Terriers would come.
Albany
is trying to keep its unbeaten conference record alive. The last America East
team to finish the conference regular-season unbeaten was Hartford in 2009-10.The
Terriers won the regular-season crown last year before falling in the semifinal
round of the America East Championship to UMBC.
The
Great Danes are searching for their first conference regular-season title in
program history after locking up their first-ever No. 1 seed with a win over
Hartford on Sunday.
