Three Women's Hoops Games Saturday As Season Hits Final Stretch

CAMRBIDGE, Mass. - Three America East women's hoops games highlight Saturday's schedule as teams enter into the final four games of conference play.

Boston U. (21-4, 11-1) looks to stay hot, as the Terriers have won 18 of their last 19 and five-straight games as they host New Hampshire (9-14, 4-7) at 1 p.m. Saturday. Boston U. boasts the leading scorer in the league (Chantell Alford) along with the leading rebounder (Rashidat Agboola) and league leader in assists (Mo Moran).

Stony Brook (13-12, 5-7) finds itself in a fight for the No. 3 seed and has an important game at Vermont (7-17, 4-7) at 2 p.m. with the teams separated by just 0.5 games. The Catamounts have been tough at home this season, going 6-3 at Patrick Gym.

One of the league's top freshman, Liz Wood, leads Maine (2-22, 1-10) into Binghamton (4-21, 3-9) for a late afternoon tip at 4 p.m. The Bearcats edged the Black Bears in Orono in the first meeting.

Sunday has one game on the docket, as Hartford hosts Albany on ESPN3 in a rematch of an overtime game from earlier this season.
