Just a half game seperates Stony Brook (18-6, 9-2 AE) and Vermont (16-8, 9-3 AE) in the league standings heading into Friday's tilt. The Seawolves, who have won 15 straight America East games at home, are coming off a 73-47 win over Binghamton Tuesday, while Vermont fell, 64-59, at home to Boston U. its last time out.
The Catamounts handed the Seawolves one of their two league losses in the first meeting between the two teams on Jan. 19. UVM shot 50 percent from the floor and score more points than any Stony Brook opponent this season in an 81-73 win. Vermont has won three straight in the series.
