CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Albany extended its regular-season winning streak to 23-straight games thanks to a 32-point effort from Shereesha Richards, while Stony Brook had a pair of impressive road wins behind two 20-point performances from Sabre Proctor as the two players were named America East Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week. Here are the week five award winners:

Co-Player of the Week
Shereesha Richards, So., Albany
Oceanview, N.J.

  • Scored a career-high 32 points while grabbing 12 rebounds for her third double-double of the season in a win over Dartmouth.
  • Hit 15-of-18 from the field (83.3%). The 15 field goals are an Albany Division I record and the most in the America East in a game since 2011.
  • Also added three steals while playing 31 minutes.
  • Helped Albany to its first 7-0 start in DI history and the best start for an America East team since Vermont in 1992-93.

Co-Player of the Week
Sabre Proctor, Jr., Stony Brook
Harrisburg, Pa.

  • Scored 20+ points in both games last week to lead the Seawolves to a pair of road victories.
  • Averaged 20.5 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting 54.2 percent from the field and 81.3 percent from the free throw line.
  • Started the week with a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing a season-best 10 rebounds in a 77-47 win at St. Peter’s. It was the first 30+ point win for the Seawolves since 2009.
  • Finished with 21 points and six rebounds while tying a career-high with two three pointers in a win at Lafayette.
  • Has scored 20+ points in three games and reached double figures in five-straight games

Rookie of the Week
Kori Bayne-Walker, Stony Brook
Rochester, N.Y.

  • Averaged 6.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game to go with 1.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Seawolves.
  • Was clutch on Stony Brook’s road win at Lafayette, tallying a career-high 13 points including eight in the second half.
  • Finished with a career-high six rebounds at St. Peter’s.

  • Albany has won 23-straight regular season games and the 7-0 start is the best in the program’s DI history and the best start for any America East team since Vermont went 28-0 in 1992-93.
  • Stony Brook is one win shy of the team’s best 10-game start in the program’s DI history.
  • Albany’s Shereesha Richards made 15 field goals vs. Dartmouth, the most for an America East player since New Hampshire’s Morgan Frame made 15 at wagner on 12/21/2011.
  • Vermont’s 95 points vs. UMass Lowell are the most for any America East Conference team since the Catamounts posted 92 vs. Albany on Feb. 10, 2010.
  • Maine started 3-0 for the first time since 1989.
  • Stony Brook eclipsed the 80-point mark for the first time since 2007 with an 83-79 win at Bradley, who was receiving votes in the mid-major poll.
  • Stony Brook’s Brittany Snow became the first Seawolf to score 30+ points in a game since 2007 with 30 points and nine rebounds vs. Bradley.
