Three MBB Teams in Action Sunday

Three America East men's basketball teams take the court Sunday, including Hartford and Stony Brook playing at home in games that fans can watch the game for free at AmericaEast.TV.

Hartford (4-8) is coming off a win over Sacred Heart its last time out and seeks its third win in four games when it hosts St. Peter's at 2 p.m.

Stony Brook (8-4) rode Jameel Warney's double-double to a win at Loyola Tuesday. It goes for its fourth win in five outings when it hosts Cornelll at 6 p.m.

Also Sunday, New Hampshire (2-8) visits Rhode Island for a 2 p.m. contest. The Wildcats are looking to snap their eight-game losing skid.

On Saturday, Vermont (4-8) hung with Harvard but fell, 74-68, despite a game and career-high 30 points from Sandro Carissimo. In the game, Brian Voelkel became just the ninth player in America East history to reach the 1,000-rebound mark.

Also Sunday, Duquesne handed UMass Lowell a 95-77 loss, Maine fell at Providence, 94-70, and UMBC dropped an 84-71 decision at George Washington.
