Two America East teams play on the road on Friday including a rare 11 a.m. weekday tip-off when UMass Lowell travels to Bryant. Vermont is also in action at the Christmas City Classic hosted by Lehigh.

The River Hawks (0-10, 0-1)  will make the trip to Smithfield, R.I. for Field Trip Day in search of the team's first Division I win. It is the final of nine-straight road games for UMass Lowell, which leads the America East in steals at 11.1 per game. The game can be seen live for free on NEC Front Row. The River Hawks and Bulldogs last met on Jan. 26, 2008 when both teams were members of the Northeast 10 Conference.

Vermont (4-5, 1-0) takes on host Lehigh at the Christmas City Classic at 5 p.m. The game can be seen live for free on the Patriot League Network. The Catamounts are second in the conference in scoring, averaging 69.4 points per game. Vermont is coming off a 74-51 win over Canisius, improving to 42-2 over the last three seasons when holding opponents to under 59 points.

On Thursday night, Albany (8-2) lost its second-straight game at No. 2 Duke, 80-51. The Great Danes jumped out to a 20-13 lead with 7:55 remaining the in the first half, but the Blue Devils took a 34-26 lead going into halftime and outscored Albany 46-25 in the second half. Shereesha Richards scored 24 for Albany including 20 in the first half.
