Albany Travels to #2 Duke Thursday Night

Just one America East women's basketball game will be held on Thursday night as Albany (8-1) travels to Cameron Indoor Stadium to take on No. 2 Duke (10-1) at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The matchup pits two longtime friends against each other in Albany head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson and Duke head coach Joann P. McCallie. Henderson started her coaching career under McCallie at the University of Maine, and the two have remained friends since. Read more on the relationship here.

Albany enters the game at No. 10 in the Mid-Major Top 25 after losing for the first time this season on Sunday. Duke is also coming off its first loss, falling to No. 1 UConn, 83-61, on Tuesday.

Shereesha Richards leads Albany and the conference in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 23.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.

New Hampshire (4-6) fell to Cleveland State, 65-50, in the only America East game on Wednesday. Kelsey Hogan 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists in the contest. She recorded her 300th career assist and currently ranks 11th all-time at New Hampshire.
