UMass Lowell will play its first-ever America East contest Wednesday when it hosts Vermont. Also Wednesday, New Hampshire hosts in-state rival Dartmouth. Both games tip off at 7 p.m. and will air on AmericaEast.TV.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the River Hawks (1-9) and Catamounts (3-7). UMass Lowell has been off since Dec. 9, a loss at Columbia, while Vermont is coming off a loss to Quinnipiac on Sunday. Akeem Williams will lead the River Hawks as he ranks 10th among league leaders averaging 13.8 points per game. Brian Voelkel comes in leading the league in assists (6.5 apg) and is just 12 rebounds shy of becoming the 9th player in league history to reach the 1,000-rebound mark.

New Hampshire (2-7) will try to snap a seven-game losing skid when it hosts the Big Green. The Wildcats dropped their league opener to Stony Brook Sunday.
