UMBC was the lone America East men's hoops team in action on Wednesday and fell at Coppin State, 91-71.
The Retrievers (3-8) turned the ball over 16 times, resulting in 22 Eagle points. Rodney Elliott led UMBC with 16 points and six assists. Quentin Jones added 12 points whjile Aaron Morgan had 10.
With several schools in first semester final exams, no team is in action until Saturday.
