Five America East men's hoops teams take the court Sunday after breaking for the Thanksgiving holiday. Four of those teams will play at home on AmericaEast.TV.
All five games tip at 2 p.m. Stony Brook (5-2) tries to win its third straight after it took two of three games at the 2KSports Classic Detroit Sub-Regional last weekend. Jameel Warney has double-doubles in five of eight games for the Seawolves this season.
Also Sunday, Binghamton (1-5) hosts Colgate and will try to snap a three-game losing skid against the Red Raiders. Maine (1-4), which leads the conference scoring 82.4 points per game hosts Dartmouth and UMass Lowell (0-6) hosts Mount Ida in search of its first win.
Albany (3-3) is the lone team in action on the road Sunday. The Great Danes visit NJIT in search for its second-straight win after beating Rider on Tuesday. Peter Hooley scored a career-best 24 points in that contest and is averaging 22.0 ppg over his last three outings.
On Saturday, Vermont (3-6) won for the second time in three games, beating Sonoma State, 73-61, on the final day of the Golden State Challenge. Freshman Kurt Steidl scored a career-high 19 points as he canned four of the Catamounts' 11 three-pointers on the day.
