UMass Lowell (0-6) visits Vermont (2-3) in the first America East women's basketball conference game of the 2013-14 season to highlight Sunday's action. The game being available live for free on CatamounTV at 2 pm.
It is the first America East contest for the River Hawks, who return to New England after playing back-to-back games against top-25 teams in the Midwest prior to Thanksgiving.
Vermont has been off since Tuesday when the Catamounts topped Wagner, 80-70. Kristina White paced the Catamounts with 19 points, connecting on six 3-pointers.
On Saturday, both Binghamton and Maine lost in their respective tournament finals. The Bearcats fell to Arkansas, 72-23, as the Razorbacks held Binghamton to 8-of-46 from the floor.
The Black Bears were defeated by Wisconsin-Green Bay, 66-49. The Phoenix entered the game as the No. 3 ranked Mid-Major team in the country. Both Liz Wood and Ashleigh Roberts were named to the All-Tournament Team, as Wood finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the final and Roberts notched 13 points and six rebounds.
Also on Saturday, Hartford lost to St. Francis Brooklyn, 56-49, and UMBC dropped a 92-53 decision to Brown.
