UNH Moves to 2-0; Albany Hosts In-State Rival Thurs.

Four teams take the court on Thursday night, as Maine becomes the last America East team to open its season. Albany, Binghamton and Hartford are also in action.

The Black Bears will play their first regular-season game at the new Cross Insurance Center at 7 p.m. against North Dakota State. Maine returns 11 players from last year's team including America East Co-Rookie of the Year, liz Wood. The game will be available on AmericaEast.TV.

Albany (2-0) hosts Marist in a matchup of two of the premier mid-major programs at 7 p.m. Albany is ranked No. 17 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll while Marist is at No. 3. The Red Foxes have won the MAAC nine-straight seasons.

Hartford (0-1) travels to Baltimore to take on Loyola (Md.) and Binghamton heads to Bucknell for 7 p.m. tips. Both of those games will be available on the Patriot League Network.

On Wednesday night, New Hampshire (2-0) improved to 2-0 with a 53-40 win at NJIT. Kaylee Kilpatrick led the Wildcats with 10 points and 13 rebounds. UMBC (1-1) dropped a road contest at Coppin St., 78-62, but were led once again by freshman Sara Tarbert's 23 points. She is the first America East freshman this decade to score 20+ points in each of her first two games.
