Four #AEHoops teams opened their seasons on Saturday and two more games are on the schedule for Sunday as the opening weekend of college basketball continues.

On Sunday, reigning champion and preseason favorite Albany (1-0) raises its 2012-13 championship banner in the team's home-opener against Wester Michigan. The Great Danes dominated Siena to open the season on Friday night.

Also on Sunday, Stony Brook (1-0) makes a trip to Annapolis to battle reigning Patriot League champion Navy. The Seawolves topped the Midshipmen last year at home.

On Saturday, UNH (1-0) earned a win in its first game of the year, beating Worcester State 77-30. UMass Lowell opened its Division I era with one of the highest-scoring games in conference history, falling to Providence 109-74. The 183 points were just eight shy of the combined score record of 191 set by Maine and New Hampshire in 1997. Vermont dropped an 82-71 decision at Bryant, and Hartford lost to top-ranked UConn, 89-34.
