CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Through just three matches of conference play, no America East teams are undefeated and five are tied with 2-1 records. Stony Brook was the only team to go unbeaten last week while six teams split the weekend with 1-1 records. Here is a look at the week six honors:
Player of the Week
Dionna Kirton, Sr., Hartford
Everett, Wash.
- Led the America East in kills per set at 4.57, ranked seventh in hitting percentage (.312) and 17th in digs (2.71) in a 1-1 week for Hartford.
- Registered a double-double with 15 kills and 15 digs in a four-set loss to preseason favorite Albany.
- Had 17 kills and a .533 hitting percentage, making only one error on 30 swings in a three-set win over Binghamton.
Rookie of the Week
Kayla Fitzgerald, Fr., Providence
Redlands, Calif.
- Ranked second in the conference in kills per set last week, averaging 4.00, while also ranking 10th in hitting percentage (.417) and 20th in digs (2.43) while helping Providence to a 1-1 week.
- Had 10 kills, seven digs and three blocks in a four-set loss to Binghamton.
- Registered 18 kills on a .417 hitting percentage as well as 10 digs to help the Friars to their first-ever win over Albany.
Setter of the Week
Hannah Dolan, Jr., Stony Brook
Rochester, N.Y.
- Led Stony Brook to a 3-0 record last week, averaging 8.23 assists and 1.62 digs per set.
- Quarterbacked the Seawolves to a conference-best .264 hitting percentage last week.
- Notched 40+ assists twice, including 42 assists and eight digs in a win over Fordham and 45 assists in eight digs in a conference win over New Hampshire.
- Ranked seventh in the conference in assists while also averaged 0.38 aces per set and 0.46 blocks per set.

- Providence defeated Albany for the first time in program history.
- No America East team in undefeated after just three matches of conference play. Five teams are tied at 2-1.
