CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Conference play crossed the midway point in men's soccer last and two players who lifted their teams to their first league wins are the conference's weekly award winners this week.
Player of the Week
Homero Morais, Jr., UMass Lowell
Somerville, Mass.
- Scored a league-best three goals in two games last week.
- Two of those scores came in UMass Lowell's 3-2 win against Stony Brook Saturday, its first America East win.
- Also scored the River Hawks' lone goal against Albany Wednesday.
- Ranks second among league leaders in points (18) and goals (7).
Rookie of the Week
Leonardo Rodrigues, Fr., Albany
Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Score in his first collegiate appearance, a win over UMass Lowell Wednesday.
- His score in the 66th minute proved to be the game winner.

- New Hampshire (9-4-0, 3-1-0, 9 pts AE) beat Hartford on Wednesday and sits in second place in the league standings.

- UMass Lowell upended Stony Brook Saturday, its first America East win.
