CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - America East volleyball teams finish their first pass through the conference schedule with New Hampshire holding a one-game lead on first place with four teams tied for second at 3-2. The top four teams in the conference standings qualify for the America East Championship. Here is a look at the weekend matchups:
Friday, Oct. 18
New Hampshire 3 (11-11, 5-1) at Binghamton 1 (4-16, 2-4)

- New Hampshire earned its fourth-straight win, defeating Binghamton in four sets in Vestal, N.Y., on Friday night.

- Emily Witsaman led UMBC back to win the second set and even the match by recorded seven of her team-high 17 kills.
- UMBC won the next two set by identical scores of 25-22. The team finished with 10 total blocks and a .226 hitting percentage compared to .216 for the Hawks.
- Hannah Schmidt had her fourth double-double with 15 kills and 11 digs.
