CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Road teams went 3-1 as Stony Brook, New Hampshire and UMBC all came out of Friday night's action tied for first with identical 3-1 conference records. Recap Friday's action and get ready for the rest of the weekend:

Friday, Oct. 11

  • Stony Brook came back from a 2-1 deficit to beat Binghamton on the road in five sets, using a .234 hitting percentage, 54 digs and 10 blocks to top the reigning conference champs.
  • Three players registered double-digit kills for the Seawolves, including Melissa Rigo who had a double-double with 15 kills and 16 digs, and Stephanie McFadden who noted 14 kills on a .550 hitting percentage and four blocks.
  • Binghamton was led by Grace Vickers' 14 kills. The Bearcats jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the match, but were held to a -.138 hitting percentage in the fourth set and .059 in the fifth.

  • Krystal Mlemchukwu had a career-high 19 kills to lead UMBC to its first-ever road win over Albany.
