The season's TV package resumes when reigning America East champion Vermont vists Alfond Arena to take on Maine Tuesday at 7 p.m. as two New England rivals meet for the 126th time. The game will be carried on ESPN3 as well as WatchESPN.com,

Vermont (12-6, 5-1 AE) comes in having won five of its last six games and tied atop the league standings. The Catamounts, who handed Stony Brook its first league loss Friday, have won four straight meetings with the Black Bears and 11 of the last 12 overall.
Maine (7-11, 2-3 AE) will try to snap a three-game losing skid Tuesday. The Black Bears, who fell to Binghamton in heartbreaking fashion Saturday, lead the all-time series with Vermont 69-56 and is 11-9 against UVM at Alfond Arena.
The game features contrasting styles as Maine is tied for the league lead averaging 67.9 points per game. Vermont on the otherhand is second in scoring defense, and 30th nationally, allowing just 58.8 points per game.

of America East’s top players will be on the court Tuesday. Maine's Justin Edwards leads the conference in scoring (17.2 ppg), while Vermont's Brian Voelkel is third in rebounding (8.4 rpg) and tied for third in assists (4.3 apg)
