CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Several players posted impressive numbers during
another full day of America East women's hoops that included the first
ESPN3/WatchESPN broadcast of the season.
Two student-athletes went for 10 assists, just the third and fourth
time that has happened in the conference this season, and two others went for
double-doubles.
Albany (13-3, 4-0) topped New Hampshire (6-10, 1-3) with another
impressive performance, 78-43, in a game that was broadcast nationally on ESPN3

points apiece, while Sarah Royals tied a conference season high and school
Division I record with 10 assists. Freshman Shereesha Richards notched a

nine-point lead to 25 for Albany at 41-16 late in the first half and the Great
Danes never looked back. Cari Reed led New Hampshire with 11 points.
Hartford (12-6, 3-2) won its third-straight conference game, edging out
UMBC (5-13, 1-4) 51-44 on Wednesday afternoon. After a slow first half that saw
the Hawks hold a 16-13 lead at the break, both teams picked-up the scoring in
the second half.
Katie Roth led a second half comeback for Hartford, scoring 16 points
including 10-straight at one juncture for the home side. Roth finished the game shooting
7-of-10 from the field, including going a perfect 5-of-5 in the final 6:15 to
lead Hartford in what was a game-ending 20-7 run. Amber Bepko had 11 in her
return to the hardwood, while UMBC was led by Brittany Crowell's 18 points and
