Fans of the America East Conference will be covered from every angle during the 2012-13 season and can look forward to a revamped coverage experience all year long, which will result in more ways than ever before to stay up-to-date with the conference happenings.

In addition to daily content from the conference website, www.AmericaEast.com, fans will also be able to follow all the America East action via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the official conference blog, AExtra.

The AExtra blog has a new look for the 2012-13 season. This new design has increased the visual appeal and overall functionality of conference's official blog. Fans can also expect new and exciting changes to the content of AExtra. While game recaps and insider outlooks will still be available, there will be exclusive video features and interviews that fans can only get from the America East.

A weekly fixture for America East fans this year will be the Plays of the Week. Fans can look for this feature every Friday as we take a look at the best plays from around the league. This will be part of a revamped video offering for fans that will also include features that highlight the athletic and academic successes of America East student-athletes.

Download the America East app to stay connected while on the go!  The re-designed America East Conference app has a fresh look and will feature the latest news as well as updated standings, scores and schedules in all 20 conference sponsored sports, including basketball, lacrosse, soccer, baseball and more. The premium version of this app (just $3.99) gives you access to exclusive on-demand video, including features, highlights and championship promos from America East All-Access. 

If you don't have a smartphone, check out America East's re-designed mobile site (m.AmericaEast.com) that offers all the features of the desktop version of AmericaEast.com but in a user-friendly formal.

Another goal of the conference’s social media plan for the upcoming year is increased fan interaction. Fans can reach out on Twitter (@AmericaEast) or on Facebook (fb.com/AmericaEast). These accounts will post about trivia, contests, and other exclusive content. Fans are also welcome to post personal content to these accounts, include Plays of the Week submissions, photos, or other suggestions. Additionaly, check out America East on You Tube (YouTube.com/AmericaEast) for video content.

Fans can also keep up with teams and coaches from around our nine campuses by checking out the conference social media directory, which lists several accounts for each school.
