Albany, Boston U. and UMBC all finished season sweeps against their opponents last night, while Binghamton salvaged a split with a gritty win at home.

New Hampshire (12-11, 5-6 AE) led Albany (16-9, 10-2 AE) 34-27 at the half but the Great Danes' defense turned it up a notch in the second half to win their 16th game of the season 68-59. Albany matched last year's win total with four more regular season games left to go.

Albany's Cassandra Callaway scored a game-high 20 points, while the Great Danes collected 16 steals as a team.

The New Hampshire post tandem of Denise Beliveau and Morgan Frame once again was rock solid combining for 37 points and 24 rebounds.

After a long scoreless drought to end the first half, Boston U. (18-6, 11-0 AE) clung to a 30-27 halftime lead at Maine (6-18, 3-8 AE). The Terriers made sure to turn that around though by outscoring the Black Bears 43-23 in the second half to finish with a 73-50 victory.

Boston U. junior Chantell Alford set a personal best with six three-pointers to finish with a game-high 18 points. Classmate Mo Moran dished out a season-high 11 assists.

Maine junior Samantha Baranowski and freshman Danielle Walczak each scored 11 points to pace the Black Bears.

UMBC (13-12, 7-5 AE) picked up a road win 63-51 over Stony Brook on Long Island. The league's leading scorer, Erin Brown, netted a game-high 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds to tie for the team high. Junior Jessica Previlon came off the bench to notch a double-double for the Seawolves of 16 points and 11 rebounds.

A deciding 13-3 run to begin the second half earned Binghamton (12-13, 6-6 AE) a conference victory over Vermont (9-16, 3-9 AE). Bearcat senior Viive Rebane tallied a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds and classmate Andrea Holmes scored 17 points to lead all scorers. Vermont rookie Niki Taylor paced the Catamounts in the post with 14 points and five rebounds.
