With both Boston U. and Albany winning on the road Wednesday night, Saturday's game between the Terriers and Great Danes in Boston is set up to be a dog fight. The Terriers (20-6, 13-0 AE) would clinch the number one seed for the America East Championship should they defeat Albany (18-9, 12-2 AE) this weekend.

Wednesday's results also sets up a nationally-televised game for third place on Sunday when Hartford and UMBC meet at Chase Arena at noon on CBS Sports Network. Both the Hawks and Retrievers will enter the game with 8-5 America East records, with UMBC already taking the first game of the season series.

Boston U. and New Hampshire (13-12, 6-7 AE) were tied at halftime, but the Terriers finished on top 63-52 behind a 17-point, 14-rebound double-double from sophomore Rashidat Agboola and 13 points, five rebounds and four assists from junior Mo Moran. It marks the first 20-win season for the Terriers since 2008-09, a season in which they finished the conference season 16-0.

The Great Danes won at Vermont (9-18, 3-11 AE) with a 59-56 score in a tight contest. Albany sweeps the season series and set the Division I program standard with its 18th win. Junior Ebone Henry scored a game-high 18 points for the Great Danes while teammate Julie Forster crashed the boards for a game-high 16 rebounds.

Up in Orono, Maine (6-20, 3-10) reached its $10,000 fundraising goal for Play 4Kay, but fell to Hartford (17-10, 8-5 AE) 59-40. Hawk junior forward Ruthanne Doherty netted 19 points and grabbed six steals to led all players in both categories.

Trailing by two at halftime, UMBC (14-12, 8-5 AE) outscored Binghamton (12-15, 6-8 AE) 39-24 in the second half to win 63-50 at home. UMBC rookie Lauren Chase and senior Michelle Kurowski each paced the team with 16 points. Chase handed out a team-high five assists, while Kurowski and Raven Harris each recorded four steals. Binghamton's Andrea Holmes had a game-high 22 points.
