The top two teams in the America East men's basketball standings, Albany and Stony Brook, which have combined for a 17-4 record to start the season, are the lone teams in action Friday. The Great Danes, winners of six straight, host Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. while the Seawolves, winners of four in a row, visit Maryland at 8 p.m. in a game that will air on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
Albany (9-2), which is playing for the first time in nine days, is off to its best start at the Division I level. The Great Danes are a perfect 4-0 at SEFCU Arena this season.
Stony Brook (8-2) is coming off a 64-59 win over Sacred Heart Tuesday. The Seawolves, who lead America East in both scoring and scoring defense, are off to the their best start in their Division I history.
