Hartford Battles Unbeaten Quinnipiac; Vermont Travels To 15/16 Oklahoma State

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Hartford and Vermont take the court on Sunday afternoon in the only two America East women's basketball games.

Vermont (3-7) returns from a long break to take on No. 16/15 Oklahoma State. The Catamounts look to become the second America East team to beat a non-conference ranked opponent this year.

Hartford (7-2) enters Sunday's contest with unbeaten Quinnipiac ranked receiving votes in the ESPN Mid-Major Top-10, while earning the No. 13 spot in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25. The Hawks are the No. 1 scoring team in the America East.

America East teams went 2-1 on Saturday with Albany and Stony Brook both notching victories. The Great Danes (8-2) extended their winning streak to six with a 79-57 win at Delaware State. Albany has won by an average of 24.7 points per game during the streak.

Stony Brook (6-4) held Saint Peter's to 13 field goals while forcing 26 turnovers to notch a 63-41 win. The Seawolves were led by Dani Klupenger's four 3-pointers off the bench.
