It's a rare Saturday with just one America East men's hoops team in action as Hartford heads to Texas to face Rice for the first time in program history. Tip time in 8 p.m.

Hartford (5-5) already has its most non-league wins since the 2007-08 season. Winners of four of their last six, the Hawks are led by sophomore Mark Nwakamma and his 12.7 points and 5.5 rebounds, which rank ninth and tied for 16th among league leaders.

On Friday, Maine fell at Army, 96-67. The Black Knights shot 55 percent from the floor en route to the win. Justin Edwards paced the Black Bears with a game-high 18 points.
