America East, Stony Brook Announce Free Admission For Men's Soccer Quarterfinal Saturday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the America East Conference in conjunction with Stony Brook University announced that they will offer free admission to anyone who attends Saturday’s men’s soccer quarterfinal game between No. 6 seed Binghamton and No. 3 Stony Brook.

The following is a statement from America East Conference Commissioner Amy Huchthausen:

“As a small token of support for those in the Stony Brook and Long Island community in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the America East Conference will offer free admission to anyone who attends the men’s soccer quarterfinal between No. 6 Binghamton and No. 3 Stony Brook at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium at 12 p.m. this Saturday, November 3.  Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by the storm and we wish everyone well on the road to recovery.”

The winner of the contest will face No. 2 seed UMBC on Wednesday, November 7 at 7 p.m.
