Stony Brook handed Albany its first loss in America East play as part of
volleyball action on Friday night. It was Albany's first conference loss since
October 16, 2011, at New Hampshire and first home conference loss since falling
to Binghamton on October 22, 2010.
Binghamton
also notched a five-set win over New Hampshire, while UMBC finished a sweep of
Providence in the season series.

the Wildcats in a thrilling five-set match.

Partaleva had a career-high 23 kills to lead the Bearcats, including five
in the decisive fifth-set that took extra points to decide.

trailed by one at 19-18 in the second before a 5-0 run by the Bearcats
