CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - America East volleyball heads into the latter
half of the season this weekend with a full slate of games on tap for Friday
night and Sunday afternoon. Albany stands in control of the conference in
first, and can be the first team to clinch a spot in the America East
Championship with a win over Stony Brook on Friday night. New Hampshire is just
two games behind Albany, with the two teams meeting one more time this season.
UMBC and
Binghamton are tied for third-place and the teams split their head-to-head
matchups. Stony Brook and Hartford both have two wins in conference play,
putting them two games out of a playoff spot.

Albany beat Stony, 3-1, in the first meeting
of the season between the two teams on September 30.
