Conference Unbeatens Meet In Boston On Sunday

Vermont (7-9, 1-2 AE) picked up its first America East win Saturday afternoon against Hartford (9-8, 0-3 AE), rallying back from a 15-point halftime deficit and forcing 29 turnovers for a 57-50 victory. Junior Shanai Heber tallied a game-high 14 points, along with six boards, five assists and five steals to lead the Catamounts.

It was the Catamounts' first regular-season win at the Hawks' Chase Family Arena since 2002.

In the day's other game, America East leading scorer Erin Brown notched her fifth 20 plus-point performance of the season with a game-high 23 points in UMBC's 75-55 win at Maine (3-12, 0-2 AE). The Retrievers moved to 8-8 on the season and 2-1 in America East play.

On Sunday afternoon, the Terriers (8-6, 1-0 AE) host their first America East game when they welcome the Bearcats (8-7, 2-0 AE) to Case Gym. Both teams have a trio players who are averaging double-figure points, while these teams also feature three of the league's top five rebounders.

New York rivals Albany and Stony Brook meet on Long Island as the second part of a televised doubleheader on Cablevision with the mens' teams. The Great Danes have only allowed their opponents 39 ppg in two league games, while the Seawolves rank 24th in the country with a scoring defense of 52.6 ppg.
