Hartford and New Hampshire lost their conference openers by a combined five points on Monday and will be looking to get in the win column tonight in Durham. The best three-point shooting team in the league (UNH; 34.5%) meets the league's stingiest three-point shooting defense (Hartford; 25.9%) so watch for the Wildcats to rely on post players Denise Beliveau and Morgan Frame.

Both Binghamton and Stony Brook won league openers Monday and will meet up on Long Island tonight. The teams split the series last year with Stony Brook winning 54-37 at home.

During last night's action Boston U. won its first America East game, surviving a late rally by Vermont in Burlington to finish on top 61-60. Mo Moran scored 19 points to pace the Terriers who held a 16-point cushion at halftime.

Albany, who has now held its two America East opponents to just 39 points per game, defeated preseason favorite UMBC 53-41 in the New York State Capital last night. Juniors Ebone Henry and Julie Forster each scored 15 points for the Great Danes.
