BURLINGTON, Vt. -- One of the nation's oldest rivarlies renews when New Hampshire visits Vermont in men's basketball action on Sunday. The game, the 134th all-time series meeting, will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

(play-by-play) and former Villanova and UMass head coach Steve Lappas (analyst) will
call the action, which begins at 12 p.m. The game, the first conference
contest to ever be featured on CBS Sports Network, is one of five
contests to be carried by the network this season.
Vermont (12-10, 6-2 AE), which holds an 84-49 edge all-time over New Hampshire (7-12, 2-6 AE), comes into the day's action having won six of its last seven contests. The Catamounts' only loss in that span came to the Wildcats, who won the first meeting between the two teams, 73-64, on Jan. 14 behind Patrick Konan's 19 points and eight rebounds.
Both teams rank near the top of the league defensively. Vermont holds opponents to 62.9 points per game, which ranks second in the league, while UNH The limits foes to 64.1 points per game, which ranks third in the league.

On Saturday, Albany and Maine posted victories to improve its standing the conference outlook.
The Great Danes (14-9, 6-3 AE) outscored Hartford (4-17, 4-5 AE) 16-0 to close the game en route to a 72-60 win at Chase Arena. The Great Danes, who shot 56 percent for the game, got 17 points and eight rebounds from Logan Aronhalt to set the pace. Andres Torres scored a game-high 18 for Hartford, which has dropped three straight after starting 4-2 in league play.
The Black Bears (10-10, 4-5 AE) evened up at .500 with a 67-59 win over Binghamton (0-21, 0-9 AE). The Black Bears have now won two in a row since dropping five straight. Justin Edwards led Maine with 18 points while Mike Allison had a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds off the bench. Jimmy Gray scored a career-high 24 points for Binghamton.
