gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a men's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live
coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Fans can also

Saturday, April 9
at UMBC 8, Binghamton 6 -- Box Score
- UMBC (4-5, 1-1 America East) scored six goals on seven shots in the second quarter on its way to its first win in league play at home against Binghamton (5-6, 1-1 AE).
- The Bearcats outshot the Retrievers, 33-26. However, UMBC held an edge in shots on goal, 14-12.
- The Retrievers picked up 30 ground balls while the Bearcats picked up 22 ground balls.
- UMBC sophomore midfielder Dave Brown led the Retrievers with four points on three goals and one assist. Sophomore attack Scott Jones added two goals and also picked up a pair of groundballs.
- Senior midfielder David Raleigh and freshman attack Brandon Planck each posted a pair of goals for the Bearcats.
#14/13 Stony Brook 10, at Hartford 8 -- Box Score
- Stony Brook (6-3, 2-0 AE) scored seven goals in the fourth quarter to overcome a 6-3 deficit and win on the road at Hartford (7-4, 1-1 AE).
- The Seawolves scored seven goals on 12 shots in the fourth quarter. During that time, Hartford scored two goals on eight shot attempts.
- Stony Brook junior attack Robbie Campbell scored four goals on the afternoon, all of which came in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning goal.
- Senior attack Timmy Trenkle netted three goals for the Seawolves, including a pair in the final period.
- Stony Brook senior keeper Rob Camposa made nine saves on the evening.
- Junior attack Aiden Genik led the Hawks with a game-high five points on four goals and one assist.
Friday, April 8
at #3/3 Johns Hopkins 11, Albany 6- Box Score

Albany was unable to overcome an early six-goal
deficit, as it fell 11-6 in a matchup with No. 3 Johns Hopkins.

The Great Danes were led by junior midfielder
Joe Resetarits, as he netted a team-high three goals in the loss.

Junior midfielder Rocky Bonitatibus matched
Resetarits with three points. Bonitatibus scored a goal and dished out two
assists for the Great Danes.
