gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live

*UMBC at Vermont, 11 a.m. -- Live Video
- Vermont (7-6, 1-2 America East) looks to get back on track in league play as it hosts UMBC (8-4, 2-1 AE) at Moulton Winder Field in Burlington, Vt.
- The Catamounts have lost two straight games to America East rivals, falling to Binghamton, 14-13, last Saturday and dropping a 19-3 game to Albany on Wednesday.
- UMBC won a midweek game against Stony Brook, 10-6, at UMBC Stadium.
- UMBC won last season's meeting between these two teams, 15-9. Prior to that, Vermont had won three straight against the Retrievers.
- Vermont freshman attack Sydney Mas did not score a goal against Albany, but still leads America East in scoring with 46 points on 40 goals and six assists.
- UMBC senior attack Erika Braerman scored five goals against Vermont last season. She has 36 points this season on 22 goals and 14 assists and ranks third in the conference with three points per game.

- Binghamton (3-9, 1-1 AE) looks to win two games in America East play for the first time in school history as it heads to Long Island to take on Stony Brook (3-8, 0-3 AE).
- Binghamton is coming off a 14-13, come-from-behind win last Saturday against Vermont. The Bearcats have never won two conference games in a season during their time in America East.
- Stony Brook is still in search of its first league win in 2011. The Seawolves fell, 10-8, to UMBC Wednesday.
- Stony Brook leads the all-time series with Binghamton, 7-1. The only Bearcat win came last season in a 12-10 decision in Vestal, N.Y.
- Stony Brook freshman Alyssa Cardillo leads the Seawolves with 18 assists, which ranks third in the conference.
- Binghamton boasts three players with at least 25 goals as Beth Moore (27 goals), Ali Castiglie (26) and Lis Zuern (25) all rank in the top 10 in America East in goals per game.

- New Hampshire (6-5, 1-1 AE) tries to keep its momentum going as it hits the road to take on unbeaten Albany (10-0, 2-0 AE).
- New Hampshire ended a 13-game losing streak to Boston U. with a 13-12, double-overtime victory over the Terriers on Wednesday.
- Albany continued its best start in school history with a dominant, 19-3 win over Vermont.
- Albany won last year's meeting between these teams, 13-12, in Durham. However, New Hampshire won in Albany in 2009, 16-15, in overtime.
- New Hampshire junior attack Hayley Rausch is coming off a career performance against Boston U. in which she notched five goals, all after halftime, including the gamewinner in double overtime.
- Albany senior attack Taylor Frink fuels the Albany offense with 44 points on 24 goals and 20 assists while leading America East in points per game (4.40) and assists per game (2.00).
