gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a men's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the

Albany closes out the non-conference portion of
its schedule with a nationally televised matchup against No. 3 Johns Hopkins.

This will be the 10th meeting between
the two programs, with Johns Hopkins owning an 8-1 advantage. The lone win for
the Great Danes came in 2007, when they earned an 8-7 victory.

The Great Danes enter this game on the heels of
a thrilling, 12-11 win over Harvard. The freshman duo of Miles Thompson and Ty
Thompson combined to score eight goals in the win.

Senior midfielder Brian Caufield recorded four
assists in the win over the Crimson, which moved him into fourth all-time in
program history with 83 assists. Caufield ranks 11th in the nation with
1.83 assists per game.
