gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live

At No. 10/7 Albany 19, Vermont 3- Box Score

No. 10/7 Albany (10-0, 2-0 America East)
continued the best start in program history in impressive fashion with a 19-3 home
victory over Vermont (7-6, 1-2 America East).

The Great Danes were led by the duo of senior
attack Jodi Battaglia and senior attack Taylor Frink, as both found the back of
the net four times.

Along with her four goals, Frink added three
assists to lead the Great Danes with a career-high seven points, while
Battaglia finished the game with six points.

Junior
attack Allison Pfohl led the Catamounts with a pair of goals in the loss.
Junior midfielder Samantha Stern recorded a goal and an assist.
At UMBC 10, Stony Brook 8- Box Score

Senior midfielder Amanda Pappas netted the 100th
goal of her career to help UMBC (8-4, 2-1 America East) earn the 10-8 home
victory over Stony Brook (3-8, 0-3 America East).

With her two goals, Pappas became only the 17th
player in UMBC history to reach the 100-goal mark.

Along with the goals from Pappas, the Retrievers
received a team-high six points from junior midfielder Alicia Krause.

In the loss, senior attack Samantha Djaha became
just the eighth player in Stony Brook history to reach 100 career points. Djaha
led the Seawolves with a team-high three goals.
At UNH 13, Boston U. 12 (2OT)- Box Score

UNH (6-5, 1-1 America East) rallied for a thrilling,
13-12 (2OT) home victory over Boston University (6-5, 2-1 America East).

With the win, the Wildcats earned their first
win against Boston U. since 2004 and put an end to a 13-game losing streak against
the Terriers.

Junior midfielder Hayley Rausch played a key
role in the win, as she recorded a team-high six points on five goals and an
assist.

In the loss, senior midfielder Erica Baumgartner
set the Boston U. all-time assist record with the 109th assist of
her career.
