Every gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's lacrosse update that  previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Vermont at No. 10/7 Albany, 3 p.m.- Live Stats

  • No. 10/7 Albany (9-0, 1-0 America East) looks to continue its remarkable start to the 2011 season when it hosts Vermont (7-5, 1-1 America East).
  • Albany owns a 10-1 advantage in the series between these two programs, including an impressive, 18-5 victory in Burlington last season.
  • Defense has been one of the keys to Albany's great start, as freshman goalkeeper Anna Berman leads America East with a .505 save percentage.
  • The Catamounts are led by freshman attack Sydney Mas, who leads America East in goals (40), goals per game (3.64), points (46) and points per game (4.18). Mas ranks fifth in the country in goals scored.

Stony Brook at UMBC, 4 p.m. - Live Stats , Live Video

  • Stony Brook (3-7, 0-2 America East) hopes to put an end to its three-game losing streak when it hits the road for a matchup with UMBC (7-4, 1-1 America East)
  • UMBC has controlled the series since entering America East, winning all seven previous meetings.
  • Junior midfielder Alicia Krause leads the Retrievers with 32 points, 17 ground balls and a team-high 15 controlled draws. Senior attack Erika Braerman has scored a team-high 35 points on 22 goals and 13 assists.
  • The combination of freshman attack Alyssa Cardillo and senior midfielder Melissa Cook fuels the attack for Stony Brook. Cardillo leads the Seawolves with 25 points, while Cook has netted a team-high 22 goals.

Boston University at New Hampshire, 4 p.m.- Live Stats

  • Boston University (6-4, 2-0 America East) looks to extend its winning streak to a season-high four games when it visits New Hampshire (5-5, 0-1 America East).
  • The Terriers have won their last 13 meetings against UNH, including a 10-6 victory over the Wildcats in the America East semifinals last season.
  • Senior Corcoran Downey leads Boston U. on the defensive end with a team-high 15 caused turnovers and 22 ground balls. Sophomore attack Danielle Etrasco paces the offense with a team-high 38 points, including 31 goals.
  • New Hampshire is led by junior midfielder Katie Keagins, who has scored a team-high 25 points on 16 goals and nine assists.
