Every gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's lacrosse update that  previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. *UMBC at #8/7 Albany, 12 p.m. -- Live Stats
  • UMBC (10-5, 4-1 America East) heads to Albany (14-0, 5-0 AE) for a battle for the top seed in the upcoming America East tournament.
  • UMBC earns a share of the America East regular-season crown and the top seed with a win.
  • Albany has already guaranteed itself a share of the regular-season crown and can be no lower than the No. 2 seed in the America East tournament.
  • Albany won the regular-season meeting between these clubs in 2010, 11-10. However, UMBC topped Albany, 11-9, in the America East semifinals.
  • Albany senior attack Taylor Frink set the Albany single-season marks for points (64) and assists (35).
  • UMBC senior attack Amanda Pappas is 14th all-time at UMBC with 105 goals in her career. Pappas has 131 career points.

*Boston U. at Vermont, 12 p.m. -- Live Video
  • Boston U. (7-8, 3-2 AE) travels to Burlington to take on Vermont (8-8, 2-3 AE) as both teams battle for a spot in the America East tournament.
  • Boston U. can clinch a tournament berth with a win or a New Hampshire loss to Binghamton on Sunday.
  • Vermont earns a trip to the tournament with a win against the Terriers.
  • Boston U. has won 15 straight contests against the Catamounts dating back to 1996. The Terriers topped the Catamounts, 19-8, last season in Boston.
  • Boston U. senior defender Corcoran Downey leads America East with 3.00 ground balls per game. Downey also averages 1.40 caused turnovers a game, good for third in the league.
  • Vermont freshman attack Sydney Mas leads the league with 50 goals and is second in America East in both points (58) and draw controls (53).

at Binghamton vs. Columbia, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
  • Binghamton (3-12, 1-4 AE) closes out its non-conference schedule as it hosts Columbia on the weekends final season.
  • The Bearcats are in the midst of a three-game losing streak. All three games were against America East competition.
  • The Bearcats finish the regular-season on Sunday as they host conference foe New Hampshire.
  • Lis Zuern leads the Bearcats with 41 total points on 28 goals and 13 assists. The senior has recorded 36.1 percent of Binhgamton's 36 total assists this season.

Stony Brook at Yale, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
  • Stony Brook (4-10, 1-5 AE) travels to New Haven, Conn., for its season finale.
  • The Seawolves are 1-0 all-time against Yale, beating the Bulldogs on Long Island, 15-9, in 2009.
  • Stony Brook senior Melissa Cook sits in fourth place in Stony Brook history with 109 career goals. She is also seventh in career assists (35) and fifth in points (144).
  • Freshman attack Alyssa Cardillo leads the Seawolves with 20 assists in her initial campaign. Cardillo has racked up a team-best 30 total points on the season.
