No. 11/9 Albany 11, at Stony Brook 5- Box Score

  • No. 11/9 Albany (9-0, 1-0 America East) continued the best start in program history with an impressive 11-5 win at Stony Brook (3-7. 0-2 America East).
  • Senior midfielder Nikki Branchini led the Great Danes in attack, scoring a game-high five points on four goals and an assist.
  • Freshman attack Kathleen Lennon scooped up a team-high three ground balls and controlled two draws in the win.
  • Stony Brook was led by freshman midfielder Kaila Gottlick, as she netted three goals and controlled a draw in the loss.

At Binghamton 14, Vermont 13- Box Score

  • Binghamton (3-8, 1-1) overcame an early three-goal deficit, as it rallied to a thrilling 14-13 home victory over Vermont (7-5, 1-1).
  • With the win, the Bearcats secured only their second victory over the Catamounts in program history and put an end to a six-game losing streak in the series.
  • Senior attack Ali Castiglie led the way with a game-high seven points on six goals and an assist. With her seven points, Castiglie became the all-time leading scorer in Binghamton history.
  • Freshman attack Sydney Mas continued her great start for the Catamounts, netting five goals in the loss. Mas has now recorded 40 goals this season, which is good for the sixth most in a single-season at UVM.

At Boston University 13, UMBC 9- Box Score

  • Boston University (6-4, 2-0 America East) scored eight goals in the second-half to earn the 13-9 home victory over UMBC (7-4, 1-1 America East).
  • Sophomore attack Danielle Etrasco continued her great play, netting a game-high five goals to lead the Terriers to the win.
  • Junior attack Molly Swain scored four goals, while junior attack Hannah Frey added three points on a goal and two assists.
  • UMBC had a trio of players score two goals, as senior attack Erika Braerman, senior midfielder Ashley Stodter and sophomore midfielder Lindsay Cox each found the back of the net twice.
