lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live

at Albany vs. #20 Harvard, 2 p.m. -- Live Stats
- Albany (3-5, 0-1 America East) looks to stop its four-game skid as it hosts non-conference foe Harvard.
- The Great Danes take on their sixth ranked opponent this season. The Danes are 2-3 in their previous five meetings with ranked foes in 2011.
- In second quarters this season, Albany has been outscored, 31-22, and outshot, 98-54, including 61-38 in shots on goal.
- Junior attack Joe Resetarits paces the Albany offense, netting a team-high 17 goals while also dishing out seven assists for a team-leading 24 total points.
Vermont at Binghamton, 7 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
- Vermont (4-4, 0-0 AE) travels to Vestal, N.Y., to take on Binghamton (4-5, 0-0 AE) in the America East opener for both teams.
- The last time these teams met, the Catamounts came out on top, 11-8, thanks to eight goals from attack Derek Lichtfuss and eight assists from attack Drew Philie.
- Binghamton is 2-1 at home this season with the one loss coming to a ranked Cornell team, 13-4, March 1.
- Philie leads the Catamounts with 18 goals and 24 points. His 2.25 goals per game rank third in America East and 25th in the nation.
- Binghamton sophomore attack Matt Springer has tallied 19 goals so far this season and leads the Bearcat offense with 21 total points.

- Stony Brook
(5-3, 1-0 America East) opened up its conference slate with an offensive
outburst at home against UMBC (2-5, 0-1 AE).
- Stony Brook raced out to an 11-0 lead after the first half and a 14-0 cushion after the third quarter.
- Stony Brook
outshot UMBC, 44-18, including a 29-11 edge in shots on goal. The Stony
Brook defense held the Retrievers to just two shots on goal through the
first three periods.
- The Seawolves held a 44-18 advantage in ground balls and won 18-of-25 faceoffs.
- Senior attack Jordan McBride poured in seven goals on 13 shots and nine shots on goal to lead the Seawolves.
- Stony Brook senior midfielder Kevin Crowley tallied two goals and dished out four assists for six total points.
- Freshman midfielder Ryan Johnston came off the bench to score a pair of goals in the fourth quarter for UMBC.
- Junior keeper Brian McCullough made 13 saves on the evening.
