gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live
coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Fans can also

*Vermont at Binghamton, 12 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
- Vermont (7-4, 1-0 America East) looks to win its sixth straight game when it heads to Binghamton (2-9, 0-1 AE).
- Vermont is 8-1 all-time against the Bearcats and has won each of the last six meetings between the clubs, including a 22-14 win in Burlington last season.
- Binghamton returns home after completing a five-game road swing. The Bearcats, who went 1-4 on the trip, have not played in Vestal since March 11.
- The Catamounts are led by freshman attack Sydney Mas, who leads America East with 35 goals and 41 points. Mas is averaging 4.10 points per game in her first collegiate season.
- Binghamton senior midfielder Beth Moore leads the Bearcats with 25 goals this season while junior attack Lis Zuern has a team-high 32 points on 22 goals and 10 assists.
*Albany at Stony Brook, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
- Albany (8-0, 0-0 AE) takes its perfect record stingy defense to Stony Brook (3-6, 0-1 AE) for a Saturday matchup between SUNY rivals.
- The Great Danes lead the nation in scoring defense, allowing their opponents just 6.25 goals per game.
- Albany won the last meeting between these teams, taking a 17-5 decision at home in 2010.
- The Great Danes are led by Taylor Frink, who tops America East with 4.5 points per game, including a league-best 2.13 assists per game.
- Stony Brook freshman Alyssa Cardillo leads the Seawolves with 24 points on the season. Cardillo is third in America East in assists with 16 helpers through nine games.
*UMBC at Boston U., 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Audio | Live Video
- Boston U. (5-4, 1-0 AE) hosts UMBC (7-3, 1-0 AE) in a rematch of the 2010 America East championship game. The Terriers topped the Retrievers, 11-10, in Boston.
- UMBC has only one win in 11 meetings all-time with Boston U. The only win for the Retrievers came in 2006.
- Both teams are coming off wins in their America East openers. Boston U. beat Binghamton, 15-6, in Boston last Saturday while UMBC defeated New Hampshire, 10-8, also last Saturday.
- The Terriers offense is led by sophomore attack Danielle Etrasco, who is second in the conference with 26 goals. She also has six assists for a team-high 32 points.
- Senior Amanda Pappas has 24 goals on the season for the Retrievers, including 17 in her last four contests.

- New
Hampshire (5-5, 0-1 America East) jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but was held
scoreless over the final 40 minutes of the game while surrendering
eight goals during the same span.
- Harvard
picked up 14 ground balls during the game, including 10 in the second
half, while New Hampshire picked up just 10 ground balls in the entire
game.
- New Hampshire attempted 18 shots on the game, but only six of those shots came after the intermission.
- Sophomore
midfielder Amber Casiano led the Wildcat offense with a pair of goals
on the evening. Both junior attack Jojo Curro and senior midfielder
Allie Duclos scored two points on one goal and one assist.
- Sophomore keeper Kathleen O'Keefe came off the bench to play 23 minutes in net, allowing two goals and stopping four shots.
