gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a men's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live
coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Fans can also

Tuesday, April 19
Vermont at Dartmouth, 6 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
- Vermont (6-6, 1-2 America East) travels to Hanover, N.H., for its final non-conference tilt of the season against Dartmouth.
- In last year's meeting between these two clubs, Dartmouth took an 18-13 decision in Burlington, Vt., despite five goals and a pair of assists from then-freshman attack Drew Philie.
- The Catamounts have held their opponents under 10 goals in each of their six wins this season. However, in four of their six losses, the Catamounts have surrendered double-digit goals.
- Philie, now a sophomore, leads America East with 26 goals this season. He paces the Catamounts with 35 total points on the year.
- Junior attack Geoff Worley has scored a goal in each of his last seven contests and is second on the team with 31 points on 16 goals and 15 assists this season.

UMBC 13, at Albany 9 -- Box Score
- UMBC (5-5,
2-1 America East) scored the final four goals of the game to break a 9-9
tie and pull away from Albany (4-8, 0-3 AE).
- Albany held a 36-32 advantage in total shots while UMBC held a slight, 19-18 edge in shots on net.
- UMBC keeper Brian McCullough made nine saves on the evening, including seven stops in the second half.
- Sophomore attack Scott Jones scored a game-high five goals for the Retrievers, including four in the fourth quarter.
- UMBC senior
midfielder Jamie Kimbles notched six points on four goals and a pair of
assists while sophomore Dave Brown scored six points on one goal and a
game-high five assists.
- Freshman
attack Miles Thompson led the Great Danes with three goals and an assist
to go along with three ground balls while senior attack Matt Johnson
added a pair of goals.
- Junior midfielder Keith Olson won 15-of-25 faceoffs and picked up a game-high eight ground balls.
Hartford 12, at Vermont 8 -- Box Score
- Hartford (8-5, 2-1 AE) ran out to an 8-1 lead at the half on their way to a win on the road over Vermont (6-6, 1-2 AE).
- Hartford won
16-of-26 faceoffs, led by senior Tim Fallon, who controlled 15-of-24
faceoffs. Fallon also picked up a game-high nine ground balls.
- The Hawks outshot the Catamounts, 33-29, including 21-10 in the first half.
- Vermont converted five of their nine extra-man opportunities.
- Hartford
junior midfielder Martin Bowes came of the bench to lead the Hawks with
five points and three assists on the afternoon.
- Junior
attack Aidan Genik scored two goals and added an assist as he cracked
the 100-point mark for his career with the Hawks. Sophomore attack Rory
Nunamacher scored a team-high three goals for the Hawks.
- Vermont
sophomore midfielder Thomas Galvin scored four points for the Catamounts
on three goals and one assist while freshman attack Connor McNamara
added a pair of goals.
at #13/13 Stony Brook 13, Binghamton 6 -- Box Score
- Stony Brook
(7-3, 2-0 AE) netted four straight goals in the third quarter to build a
lead the visiting Binghamton (5-7, 1-2 AE) could overcome.
- The Bearcats outshot the Seawolves, 34-31, but Stony Brook held a 21-15 edge in shots on goal.
- Stony Brook picked up 37 ground balls, led by senior Adam Rand with seven, while Binghamton grabbed just 24 ground balls.
- Senior
midfielder Kevin Crowley led the Seawolves with five points on three
goals and two assists to go along with five ground balls.
- Stony Brook
senior attack Jordan McBride scored two goals and dished out one assist
while junior defender Greg Miceli dished out a team-high three helpers.
- Binghamton
was led by junior midfielder Chris Cook, who scored three points on one
goal and two assists while picking up seven ground balls.
- Freshman attack Michael Antinozzi scored a team-high two goals for the Bearcats.
