*Stony Brook at New Hampshire, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats

  • Stony Brook (4-8, 1-3 America East) is in search of its first win away from home this season as it heads to Durham, N.H., to take on conference foe New Hampshire (6-6, 1-2 AE).
  • New Hampshire is 6-2 all-time against Stony Brook and has won the last three meetings in the series, including a 12-8 victory last season at Stony Brook.
  • Stony Brook enters Saturday's game after topping Vermont, 10-9, for its first conference win last Saturday.
  • New Hampshire dropped a 16-8 decision against Albany last Saturday. The Wildcats stormed back from a 7-1 deficit to cut the Great Dane lead to two goals, 9-7, but could get no closer.
  • Freshman attack Alyssa Cardillo paces the Seawolves with 29 total points on 10 goals and a team-high 19 assists.
  • The Wildcats are led by junior midfielder Kate Keagins who leads the team in points (29) and assists (11), and is tied for the team lead in goals (18). Keagins also leads America East with 2.42 ground balls per game and 2.17 caused turnovers per game.

  • Albany (11-0, 3-0 AE) looks to remain unbeaten in 2011 as it takes on the defending America East champion, Boston U. (6-6, 2-1 AE).
  • Albany won the meeting between these teams last season, 12-11, in Albany. The Terriers took the last matchup between the two in Boston, 15-9, in 2009.
  • The Great Danes have won ten straight regular-season contests against America East foes, including a 16-8 win over New Hampshire last weekend.
  • Boston U. is trying to snap a two-game skid after falling to cross-town rival Boston College, 10-7, in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday.
  • Albany freshman goalkeeper Anna Berman anchors the Great Dane defense, which leads the nation allowing just 6.00 goals per game. Berman leads America East keepers with a .511 save percentage and boasts a 6.23 goals against average.
  • The Terriers are led offensively by sophomore attack Danielle Etrasco, who has a team-high 43 points on 36 goals and seven assists.

  • Despite three goals from sophomore attack Danielle Etrasco, Boston University fell 10-7 to crosstown rival No. 14 Boston College.
  • With her three goals, Etrasco has now scored a team-high 36 goals this season and leads the Terriers with 43 points.
  • Junior midfielder Catie Tilton and freshman attack Elizabeth Morse each added two points in the loss.

 

Johns Hopkins 12, at UMBC 7- Box Score

  • UMBC saw its two-game winning streak come to an end with a 12-7 home loss to intrastate rival Johns Hopkins.
  • The Retrievers were led by junior midfielder Alicia Krause, who netted a team-high three goals and scooped up a team-high four ground balls in the loss.
  • Senior goalkeeper Natalie Rau was excellent in the net, as she made nine saves to help keep UMBC in the game.
