Every gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's lacrosse update that  previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Boston University at No. 14 Boston College, 4 p.m.- Live Stats

  • Boston University faces a difficult non-conference matchup when it travels to cross-town rival No. 14 Boston College.
  • The Terriers hope to rebound from an 18-11 loss against Boston College last season, which ended a five-game winning streak in the series.
  • Sophomore attack Danielle Etrasco continues to lead the Terriers in attack, as she has scored a team-high 40 points on 33 goals and seven assists.

At UMBC vs. Johns Hopkins, 6 p.m.- Live Stats , Live Video

  • UMBC steps out of America East play for a matchup with intrastate rivals Johns Hopkins at UMBC Stadium.
  • This will be the 23rd meeting between the two programs, with the Retrievers holding a 12-8-2 record in the series. When these teams met in 2009, it was the Blue Jays who came away the 8-6 win.
  • Junior midfielder Alicia Krause has been playing at a high-level for the Retrievers, as she recorded 11 points in her past two games to earn America East Player of the Week. Krause leads UMBC with 43 points this season.
