  • Vermont (6-5, 1-1 America East) took advantage of a strong first-half performance to earn its first win in America East play with an 11-6 victory over Albany (4-7, 0-2 America East).
  • With the victory, the Catamounts put an end to a nine-game losing streak in this series.
  • The duo of sophomore attack Drew Philie and sophomore midfielder Luke Ryder led UVM, as each found the back of the net three times in the win.
  • Freshman attack Miles Thompson continued his strong play for the Great Danes, recording a team-high two points in the loss.
