lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live

at Albany vs. #5/5 Massachusetts -- Live Stats
- Albany (1-1) hosts the fifth-ranked team in the nation Tuesday. Massachusetts is the second nationally ranked opponent for the Great Danes this season. The Great Danes fell to then-No. 18/20 Drexel, 14-7, to open the season.
- The Great Danes are coming off an 11-9 win over Delaware in their home opener March 5.
- Freshman attack Miles Thompson scored the first three goals of his collegiate career against the Blue Hens on his way to being named America East Rookie of the Week.
- The last time the Great Danes played Massachusetts, Albany lost a 4-1 lead after the first period as they fell to the Minutemen, 11-6, last March.

- Binghamton (1-3) looks to build off its first win of the season last Saturday when it hosts Hobart in Vestal.
- Their last time out, the Bearcats beat Canisius, 11-7, thanks to a balanced offense that produced the Bearcats' highest scoring output of the season.
- Six different Bearcats scored a goal against Canisius and four Bearcats notched an assist.
- Binghamton has lost in each of its last three meetings with Hobart, including a 6-5 loss in Geneva, N.Y., last season.
Vermont at #2/2 Virginia -- Live Stats | Live Audio
- Vermont (3-1) again makes a long road trip when it heads to Charlottesville, Va., to take on national power virginia.
- The Catamounts travelled to Colorado earlier this season, splitting a pair of games against Air Force and Denver.
- Vermont, which is coming off a 7-5 win at home against Bryant, received votes in both major national polls this week.
- Vermont has lost to Virginia in each of the last three seasons. Vermont head coach Ryan Curtis played for Virginia when the Cavaliers won the national championship in 1999.
