#11/9 Albany 11, at #17/19 Boston College 10 -- Box Score

  • Albany (8-0, 0-0 America East) scored four unanswered goals in the final 6:17 of the game to come back from a 10-7 deficit and beat the Eagles to remain undefeated.
  • Alie Phelan scored an unassisted goal with 4:41 remaining in the contest to tie the game, 10-10. Phelan scored again at the 2:30 mark to put the Great Danes ahead for good. The freshman midfielder scored three goals on the afternoon.
  • Albany held an advantage in total shots, 28-22, and shots on goal, 20-16.
  • The Great Danes took 14-of-23 draw controls in the contest.
  • Senior attack Jodi Battaglia posted a hat trick with three goals while freshman midfielder Ariana Parker scored two goals.  


at Vermont 10, Holy Cross 9 -- Box Score

  • Vermont (7-4, 1-0 AE) jumped out to an 8-2 lead at the break and held on in the second half for its fifth straight win.
  • The five-game win streak is the longest for the Catamounts during the tenure of head coach Jen Johnson.
  • Vermont had a tough time with draws, taking just 7-of-21 in the contest, but grabbed 15 ground balls compared to 10 for the Crusaders.
  • Freshman attack Sydney Mas poured in five points on four goals and an assist. Three of those goals and the assist came in the first half. The freshman now has 35 goals and 41 total points this season.
  • Freshman attack Justine Allen scored a pair of first-half goals to spark a 5-0 run by the Catamounts going into the break.
