gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a men's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live
coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Fans can also

Hartford 13, at Wagner 6 -- Box Score
- Hartford (6-3) ran out to a 9-2 lead at the half on the way to its third straight win.
- Hartford rattled off eight straight goals in the first half over a span of 18:29.
- The Hawks outshot Wagner, 34-27, including 17-8 in the first half. Hartford held a 25-12 advantage in shots on goal.
- Junior midfielder Carter Bender scored six points on two goals and four assists, all in the first half.
- Junior attack Ryan Compitello and sophomore attack Rory Nunamacher each scored two goals and dished out two assists.
at UMBC 9, Quinnipiac 7 -- Box Score
- UMBC (2-4) scored the final three goals of the game to complete the fourth-quarter comeback against Quinnipiac and end a four-game losing streak.
- The Retrievers outscored the Bobcats, 6-2, in the second half, including a 5-2 edge in the final stanza.
- UMBC was on target on just 11 of its 25 shots. However, the Retrievers found the back of the net on nine of their 11 shots on goal.
- UMBC junior keeper Brian McCullough faced 20 shots and made 13 saves.
- Sophomore midfielder Scott Hopmann scored a pair of goals, including the gamewinner on a man-up opportunity.
- Sophomore attack Scott Jones scored two goals and also assisted on Hopmann's game-winning goal.
at #12/10 Stony Brook 13, Bryant 6 -- Box Score
- Stony Brook (4-3) overcame a 4-3 halftime deficit with seven goals in the third quarter to end a two-game skid.
- Stony Brook outscored Bryant, 7-1, in the third quarter and 10-2 in the second half.
- The Seawolves held a 32-22 advantage in total shots and a 21-14 edge in shots on goal.
- Senior midfielder Kevin Crowley scored four goals and added one assist to lead the Seawolves' offense.
- Seniors Brett Drost and Timmy Trenkle each notched a pair of goals.
#17 Bucknell 11, #16/15 Albany 9 -- Box Score
- Albany (3-4) surrendered a season-high 54 shots as it lost its third straight game.
- The Great Danes attempted just 22 total shots, putting 17 shots on goal. The Bison put 32 shots on net.
- Bucknell held the advantage in ground balls, 39-30.
- Freshman keeper Edmund Cathers set an Albany Division I record with 21 saves on the afternoon.
- Junior attack Joe Resetarits posted a career-high six points on three goals and three assists.
- Freshman attack Miles Thompson also recorded a hat trick while senior attack Matt Johnson dished out three assists.
at Brown 12, Vermont 10 -- Box Score
- Vermont (4-4) was outscored, 5-1, in the fourth quarter as it stumbled on the road in Providence, R.I.
- The Catamounts outshot the Bears, 38-28, including 26-17 in shots on goal.
- The Vermont offense fired off 18 shots in the second half, including 14 on goal, but scored just five goals after the break.
- Sophomore attack Drew Philie and junior attack Geoff Worley each scored three points on two goals and one assist.
- Sophomore attack A.J. Masson also posted three points, scoring one goal and dishing out a pair of assists.
